Yes — on-site parking at the front of the hotel. Spaces are limited and first come, first served, so they cannot be guaranteed.

If the car park is full, multi-storey car parks are about a 5–10 minute walk (often from around £6.50 per 24 hours). On-street parking nearby is usually charged during the day and free overnight — check local signs.

What is The Pickled Sprout?

The Pickled Sprout is the hotel’s restaurant and bar, accessed from John Street at the back of the hotel. It serves contemporary British and European dishes, cocktails, wine and local ales. Hotel guests and non-residents are welcome.

Can I eat if I am not staying at the hotel?

Yes. The Pickled Sprout is open to the public. Book ahead at weekends and during festival or conference weeks.

Yes. The Sky Suite on the top floor is used for weddings and celebrations, with views over Harrogate.

Yes. We are one of the closest hotels to Harrogate Convention Centre and the Royal Hall, so we are popular for exhibitions, conferences and shows.

How do I get to The Yorkshire Hotel by train?

Harrogate station is about a 5–8 minute walk. Reception can book a taxi if you prefer not to walk with luggage.

How far is Leeds Bradford Airport?

About a 25–30 minute drive. Harrogate bus and rail stations are both close to the hotel.

What is there to do nearby?

Most of central Harrogate is within a five-minute walk: Bettys, independent shops, the Turkish Baths, Valley Gardens, the theatre and the Convention Centre. Reception can help with dinner reservations, taxis and local tips.
