Oakdale Golf Club
Oakdale is one of the best golf clubs in Northern England, an exquisite mix of moorland and parkland golf. Established in 1914 and designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie of Leeds, Oakdale draws golfers from around the world, and is well worth a visit.

This is Harrogate’s oldest golf club – so you’ll play the course that has been graced by world championships, and some of the best golfers of all time.

Pannal Golf Club
A tree-lined heathland championship golf course with superb views. Aim for a par of 72 as you play the 6614 yards – but don’t miss the views of Almscliffe Crag to the west, the Crimple Valley and viaduct to the north, and the rolling plains of York to the east.

Spofforth Golf Course
You can pay and play at the 18 hole Spofforth Golf Club – or go for a half round, if you’re pushed for time. The course is between Wetherby and Harrogate, and it has everything you’d expect of rolling parkland.
